Lazy!

Yes, I am VERY lazy and I haven't updated in an extremely long time!

Firstly, I know this is old news, but I hope that everyone watched Barack Obama's acceptance speech because it was amazing!

I can't think of all the things that have happened since that day, so I'll just post on two very recent things.

The first recent thing is that I saw Hairspray last night at the jubilee! It was so much fun, the show was SO good! I'm even more excited to go see Chicago with Alex in January!!!! The bad thing about last night though, was that we went to Chili's for dinner and we waited an hour for our food until we couldn't wait any longer and so we had to go to the food court. The other problem was that yesterday was animal rights day or something like that so I wasn't eating meat, so all I had for dinner was french fries and I was SOOOO hungry. Anyways, whatevs! The show was REALLY good!

The more recent happening was that today I finally got my butt back to Golds, which was so awesome! I so enjoyed myself, but I was really excited because the pool is finally open!!!! Unfortunately, I couldn't swim in it because....

HA HA... there were signs up about how a pool has to be closed for at least 8 hours or something after it's been infected with diarrhea. Oh my gosh, it was ridiculously sad and upsetting and FUNNY. I just feel hella bad for the poor sucker who had an accident in the pool.

Anyways, I've been thinking about blogging about more important things as well as the boring happenings of my weeks and such, so I hope to come out with some more socially conscious posts. For now, just my ramblings about the silly stuff that happens in life!!!

EDIT 1: OMG, I can't believe I forgot to say what happened on Sunday while me and Matt and Nattie were watching the Amazing Race! A Superstore commercial came on (with Galen Weston), and it went something like this:

Galen Weston: "You can deck your halls, your tree, your table,......, even your dog!"
Me: "You should deck Lucy" (to Nattie)
and then we all laughed! It was pretty funny, but I'm glad that nobody will deck Lucy!!!

EDIT 2: 19 days, 17 hours, and 28 days left of fall semester!!!!

The big day...

So here we are. Election Day! I really should have cared more about ours and less about theirs (the Americans, I mean), but it's an exciting day for the world one way or the other, I think.

I'm really pulling for Obama. Partly because I think he has the capacity to make change, which I think they sorely need down South and partly because I really do think that a vote for McCain is a vote for W. (thank you, SNL Presidential Bash). Anyways, we'll see for sure. I've been thinking lately "they'd be crazy to elect McCain" (I'm not fully sure why, I'm sure he's not as bad as I'm imagining him), but it honestly couldn't be any crazier than when they elected Bush II for the second time, because they were already fully aware of what a crappy president he was. So we shall certainly see. I remember the last one well though, I coloured my agenda into an American flag in Physics 211 and hoped for Kerry. I'm always HOPING for the Democrats, I hope they win one for me this time!

Me and Nattie get to go to the HOCKEY GAME tonight though! I'm super excited and we will have so much fun! I know we will though!

I can't wait to see some results, the first polls are closing right NOW so there might be some soon! I wonder if I can convince someone to tape the Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert special for me!

Go Obama! Go FLAMES!
