Ha Ha, I stole that off Nattie's blog. Actually, I saw it, did the quiz, and posted my own result, but you get the idea. It was fun. Today we got our marks back for the Soci 371 midterm and I didn't do too wonderfully, but I can't complain. And I won't. I have math soon and I'm not particularly in the mood, especially because Jordan asked me if I wanted a ride home, and of course I want a ride home, I am just unable to go home right now, and so I had to say no. I've also gotten, like, 6 phone calls while being in this computer lab and every time I get up, I feel like a tool. So hooray!

Today, the train was plastered with ads for slice, a new TV station. Well, actually, I think the life network is just changing their name, because there is a link on the slice website to the life network. In any case, the ads are all about reality shows, so I wonder if the whole station is reality shows. This would be pretty cool, especially for me and Nattie (who likes reality shows even more than I do!)!!! So I'm excited to check it out once it launches on March 5. Other than that, not much to put on here. It's my first day back at school after reading week, and I lost my planner thing, but I bought a new one today for 6 dollars, which is a steal of a deal, since it's worth 24. I should do the same thing next year! I still L-O-V-E facebook and it makes wasting time fun, PLUS I've talked to lots of people with whom I had previously lost touch! It's pretty fun. A girl that I know from the Zboard thinks she might be pregnant, and that's cool, cause she lives here, and we've talked about maybe meeting somewhere sometime, so that would be fun... I have a sad sneaking suspicion that she may not have many friends, though she goes to a youth group, so maybe just not too many close friends. I'm probably wrong anyways, so it doesn't matter. Also, my cousin's having a baby and some girl in my soci class is too, but the only one that really matters is that my cousin is having one! That is exciting. I never really got to meet/spend time with any of my other cousins' kids when they were really little and stuff, and since she's in Edmonton, maybe I'll get to spend more time with this one! I'm excited anyways, it should be awesome!

eek, I have to sing in front of people and then be judged on it. I just hope that I can do something that will be OK. We'll see though, I'm so nervous!

And actually, there was one other thing that I forgot.....I need lip stuff real bad, but that wasn't it. Oh well.

Reading Week

Ah, reading week, finally!!! Except that it's nearing its end, which is VERY VERY sad!!!! I love reading week so very much! Now all I have to look forward to is the end of my THIRD YEAR! Yes, my THIRD YEAR! HO-LY!!!! I can hardly believe that it's been two and a half years already! Well, I guess a little more than two and a half. Though I haven't been the student I should be most of the time, really only in a few courses, I still think that I have developed into a much different person than I was when I started. I've realized MANY things about life and about me, and that's OK. One thing that I've really learned is how valuable a good friendship is (yes Nattie, I'm primarily talking about you). Though, all friendships are valuable. I mostly realize how important when I miss Nattie these days, but seeing Sam and Kaila was pretty intense too. I wish we still had time like we did in highschool when we could go to church and then spend the rest of our Sundays enjoying each others company. Or Kaila playing steam roller while the three of us shared Sammie's bed on Saturday nights. I can't wait for Nattie to come to U of C though, it will be SO exciting!!!! We can meet places and have lunch together, just like good old times, and go to the gym together (somewhat like good old times, but it would be good for both of us to make it a habit, I think... AND FUN!).... Anyways... as much as I miss the friends that I was close to then and some of the fun that we've all had... everything has to go somewhere, and here is pretty decent too. There are always those moments, the ones you just want to freeze and hold on to forever. Like this week! I've spent it with Jordan and Nattie and Mattie and tutoring. And that is enough really, to make me happy. As much as Jordan is a weirdo and as awful as we can fight sometimes and as horrible as we can be to each other.... there's noone else I'd rather be with.... (man I use a lot of these ->......).... cause I love him, and that's OK too! Actually, it's wonderful. Cause I think he loves me too. Right dear? And he told his mommie that he loves me. I'm sure she was highly unimpressed and everything, but that'll happen. And as much as she probably doesn't approve of that, he still said it, and that's what really means something to me. Because in the end he has to make his own decision. I wish I didn't feel so uncomfortable around her though. I'm pretty sure I'm making it all up (or at least much worse) in my head, but it's still very weird. And I hope he doesn't say anything to them, because that would be even more uncomfortable. And I would be muchly angry.

Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day to all!!!! I don't have much to say today, except that and that I don't want to go to class, but what else is new? I'm excited for tonight, because James is taking me out for Vietnamese food and for Friday for my TV!!!! I think I already said those things yesterday though! Nattie got tickets to the Flames game yesterday and I feel very very jealous! I also feel very very impatient, because my new phone hasn't come yet and I'm just dying to get it!!! My old one is just becoming harder to use by the day! I can't wait to post a picture of it though, it will be funnie!

TUESDAY AGAIN!!! :)

Wow! It's so freaking cold today!!! Even inside, the school is freezing!!!! I'm VERY PO'd though... I think MSN webmessenger is over!!! I can't go there and searching isn't helping!!! I don't know what to do!!! I loved it soooooo much!!!! Anyways, whatever I guess... maybe it's just out of commission for right now (I hope so!).... my phone died the other day!!! The flip comes right out, fairly easily. This is not fun, and it makes it very difficult to make phone calls, but my new phone will be coming this week, and I'm VERY excited about that!!! Otherwise, tomorrow is Valentine's Day, and I will be eating Vietnamese food, which is SO exciting! Also, James is buying me half a TV for V-day (I'm buying the other half) and I am VERY excited for that also, because I have missed Stephen Colbert immensely!!! OK, so I think you can get yahoo messenger as a web messenger, and I already have a yahoo account! So, it's louamonster@yahoo.com, if anyone is on yahoo messenger, and maybe that will have to be my new at-school messenger... I can't believe how obsessed with this I am! Anyways, the only really important things that I came on here to say was that tomorrow is Valentine's day, and I will be getting my new, non-broken phone sometime this week! Both of which I am VERY excited about!!!!

The first real entry!!!!

Hooray for switching!!! Ha ha, I hope!!! I like it so far (all 1 day or whatever, tee hee...)... anyways, I really like that people can comment on my new diary!!!! I'm back at my internet cafe and another week is over! THANK GOODNESS!!! I'm very very very very happy about this! It was not a very wonderful week, because I was sick and busy! The really nice part though, was that tutoring started this week!!! For most of them anyways! Jenn started on Wednesday, which was much fun and will be much fun! Jenn was my very first tutoring student!!! And this is her last year of high school, which makes me feel a little old, but I feel very very lucky to have gotten to tutor her!!! Not that it's over yet, there's still 1 semester to go! It's nice too, because I won't lose track of her like with David and Gabby because Molly is kind of attached to her otherwise, and different and a little stronger than she was to Gabby! So this will be nice! And Marnie was so much fun too! She's very sweet and easy to teach, and MUCH BETTER AT MATH THAN SHE THINKS SHE IS!!! Which, I must say, I've noticed with all of them, but it's always a nice surprise. It's very disconcerting to me that I end up with most of these kids (for the most part at least) because of bad math teachers that they've had in the past. I hope that someday (should I survive university) I will be one of the really good teachers out there... I've had a lot of really good teachers and I know the impact that they can have, as lame as that is. In any case, Wanda gave my number to a friend of hers, and I'm excited to perhaps tutor her daughter as well! I just have to find some time! I may even only work 1 day a week at IDA, which would actually be pretty sweet, because I would MUCH rather be tutoring! It would be nice to find one more to tutor on Mondays, and that would really be awesome, because having two would totally be worth not working at IDA!!! Anyways... we'll see!!!! I thought I had exciting things to write here, but i'm not sure that I do! Oh well, that's OK! I hope I have more exciting things to say soon!!!
