Don't blame me....

I voted green. And so says the sweet button I got yesterday!!!! I went to the green party election night party to volunteer and actually had a really great time! I met a girl named Arden who actually ran as the green party's candidate in Calgary Glenmore, which is either Jordan's riding or the one just North of him. I think it's the one North of him, where Palliser and Pump Hill and all those fancy places are. She was afraid she wouldn't get any votes at all, but she came in third place! They didn't actually get any seats, but they got 5% of the vote, which is 2% more than the last AB election, so it was very exciting! I also got to meet the leader of the party, George Read (who I was not expecting to see, I figured he'd be in Edmonton) and apparently I was on the news! It was a good time all around though. Arden and I hung all the streamers, thank you very much and it was a lot of fun!!! There was also talk of a federal election being called on Friday. It would be cool if the greens could get another federal seat (apparently they got one in BC at some point)....

The weekend was good too, I didn't do that much, but Friday James came over for a while and then on Saturday I worked and then we went to Tomo's house for Justin's birthday which was lots of fun, everyone was there including GIRLS! There are almost never any other girls around when I hang out with those boys, so it was very exciting that Joslyn, Kate, and Kate's friend Christine were all there! It was nice too because Jordan and all his guy friends got to be gay together without me hanging around! Tee hee, it was a really fun time though, and it's always fun to wish Justin a happy birthday! I can't believe he's 22! That means I'll be 22 soon! EEK! Ha ha, I don't think I care..... Then on Sunday I just hung around at home with Molly and watched the second season of Big Love (so good, but so upset it's over and I have to wait, like, a year for it!).... which was fun, and then me and Jord and Fev went to see Semi-Pro. Not so good. Not at all actually, though it did have a couple of moments here and there that were funny, so that was good. It was a nice weekend though.

On a less fortunate note, my papa left for Winnipeg (or Winnie-peg as Nattie's most favourite person at work says ;)) because my Baba is in the hospital. She thought she just had a cold but apparently actually had a small heart attack and fluid on her lungs. She'll probably be good as new right away though, I think they were having lunch in the cafeteria yesterday when my Dad texted me, but I'm not sure because he doesn't know how to use T9 so he just shoddily texts me using alpha, but says stuff like "wer r u" or I M In Caftria Havng Dinr WI Baba Eats She Liks Pics Sed Moll Lost Wate" (an actual quote). Anyways, he'll probably have fun visiting anyways. I think he kind of wishes we lived in Winnipeg, and sometimes I would like that too, but I dunno. I think it would end up like a bad situation, because people who live in Winnipeg sometimes sound like they're stuck there in some ways. As much as I love my Baba, she's hard to deal with and the 2 grandkids who live there get a lot more crap from her than the rest of us do because I think she expects more from them (and their kids), which is tough.

Anyways, have a lovely day/week!

Only 45 days, 4 hours, and 50 minutes until BSD!

Would you believe that I have a final the day after BSD? Haha it sucks, but apparently everyone is drunk by appx noon anyway, so maybe I will have time to sober or whatever. Do you know when tickets go on sale?

Ha ha, that totally sucks that you have a final right after BSD! I think I should try and take that day off and just get sloppy for BSD. I'm not totally sure when they go on sale, but we should get tickets ASAP so we can get some for the boys. There's really limited availability for non-students...
